At the recent tournament, Michael and Simon made a convincing 10-3 first set win was followed by a tighter 7-6 to defeat their English opponents.

He and his partner then got unstuck in the quarter-finals on Sunday against number one seeds Mark Dawes and Jamie Chestney, who won 9-2, 7-4.

Michael then moved on to the singles, where he is ranked number 14 seed, last week to take on Honnor. He got the perfect start, opening up a 5-0 lead after three ends.
