Naya was born on August 6 in Lagos. He grew up in the Surulere part of Lagos alongside his other siblings.
He originally hails from Delta State part of Nigeria.

Nayaeffects as fondly called started up his career shooting music videos with phones before he eventually upgraded himself to a standard camera.
